Moments ago, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a three-month extension of the existing transportation bill SAFETEA-LU until September 30, 2012 by a vote of 293 to 127. The passage of this bill at least creates the opportunity for the House and Senate to go to conference and negotiate the final bill, agree upon successor legisation to SAFETEA-LU and finally complete the reauthorization process.

Anxiously awaiting the delivery of my new bike.  It will be far superior to my ability to use it, but I have found out that a light weight carbon fiber bike is much easier and more fun to ride.  My new bike will be the first one of the new Trek Domane series in SW Florida.  Could be a costly mistake, but I hope not.
