Dear Stakeholders,
I wish to inform you that the grant portion of the Master Mobility Plan has ended. Collier County submitted the draft conceptual language for implementation of the Phase II Recommendations to the Department of Energy with the understanding that we would continue public involvement and the implementation process utilizing the county’s own resources.
We have scheduled two Stakeholder workshops to continue working through the Low Vehicle Miles Traveled Development (LVMTD) concepts as well as creating a multi-modal analysis (Recommendations 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6). The first meeting will be held September 4th from 9:00am to 11:30am at 2885 South Horseshoe Drive in the Main Conference Room. The second workshop will be held September 7th (same time and place as September 4th).
If we cover everything that you are interested in for Recommendations 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6 on 9/4, it is not necessary to come 9/7. The consultant is not sure we will be able to get through it all in one workshop…and also the 11th gives the consultants a chance to make the changes we discuss on the 4th and come back for more input if it’s needed. We can decide as a group what the 7th workshop will cover.
These are very important workshops so please bring all your comments/suggestions that pertain to the above-referenced concepts. We look forward to your valuable participation.
